I was offered a full-ride to Mercy Law in Detroit (obviously, I didn't go because it's in a bad part of Detroit called "Detroit"). But when I was there, the dean of the school told me that his firm (a successful 400-lawyer firm) no longer hired attorneys from Yale or Harvard.  The reason being was that these brilliant individuals sometimes lack basic emotional-quotient skills.  I've never been "smart," but what I am is relentlessly curious.  And, perhaps more importantly, I ask the questions that lead to answers and then can act on the information obtained.  I included the above script because I have never learned to code.  But I had an idea to make an accounting system more efficient and, rather than asking someone else to think for me, I decided to figure out how to make the accounting system myself.  I coded in Google Scripts and used a network of connected Google Sheets to create a system that satisfied my needs (and my curiosity!).
